Our Ethics & Sustainability

We all have a responsibility to look after our planet. With sustainability as a core value at EcoNaps, we're constantly striving to do better to ensure we offer high-quality, safe, and ethically made products that give back. Here are the actions we have in place.

Packaging

We proudly package our products 100% plastic-free Our swing tags are printed on 100% biodegradable and recyclable card-stock while our booster kits, insert kits, nursing pads and bamboo wipes come in reusable fabric totes. Our product packaging is mindfully designed to be composted, recycled or used again.

Shipping

Our products are shipped in compostable & recyclable cardboard cartons with unbleached paper stuffing to protect items in transit. We’re working towards a paper-based tape solution so we can proudly ship 100% plastic free.

Supply Chain

We only work with partners that are accredited for their ethical business practices. Our current manufacturer is SEDEX certified and conducts an annual SMETA audit to uphold working conditions.

Materials

Our PUL, micro-suede, bamboo terry and bamboo velour all carry OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. This is one of the strictest tests for harmful substances. We’re currently in the process of gaining OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification for our bamboo fleece too.

Our HQ

As an environmentally conscious bunch, we power our space with solar & renewable energy sources. When it comes to office supplies (like loo-roll or tea) we choose to support local, like-minded businesses who also prioritise sustainability. We also compost & recycle 99% of our office waste.

Giving Back

We’re committed to giving back to others that share our values. Throughout the year we raise awareness and provide valuable financial support for a variety of organisations, causes and charities through our give back product ranges and sales. Recent support includes:

  • Rainforest Rescue
For World Environment Day, we donated to Rainforest Rescue, a not-for-profit organisation that has been protecting and restoring rainforests in Australia and internationally.

  • Indigenous Literacy Foundation
For National Reconciliation Week, we donated to the Indiginous Literacy Foundation, a national book industry charity dedicated to lifting literacy levels in remote Indigenous communities.

  • Take 3 For The Sea
We donated 10% of all sales from our Desert Sky & Oasis limited range prints to Take 3 For The Sea, an organisation committed to reducing the plastic pollution and waste in the ocean and broader environment.
